Wendy Waldman is a critically acclaimed, award winning recording artist, producer, and writer of multi-platinum songs for other singers in musical genres ranging from country to pop, film, jazz, children's music and R&B, including Vanessa Williams’ “Save the Best for Last” and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s iconic “Fishin in the Dark."

Originally signed to the venerated Warner Brothers Records in 1973, Wendy's first project was hailed by Rolling Stone as “Singer Songwriter Debut of the Year." She formed the now cult band Bryndle with Karla Bonoff, Andrew Gold and Kenny Edwards, and is currently a member of The Refugees, featuring Cidny Bullens and Deborah Holland.

Over the last 40 years, Waldman’s songs have been recorded in multiple genres, beside the aforementioned, “Corn Water and Wood,” Wrangler award winning holiday song now considered a cowboy classic, “The Sweetest Days” Vanessa Williams, “I owe you One” Aaron Neville, “I’’m Gone”, Alison Krauss, “Looking Back at You” Cece Winans and many others worldwide.

As a record producer, she is most noted for the award-winning debut project from Suzy Bogguss (SOMEWHERE BETWEEN) and the classic FRIDAY NIGHT IN AMERICA by New Grass Revival.

Wendy is extremely active, releasing new work, recording with the legendary HB Barnum of Aretha Franklin fame (and many others), building a new music library and creating podcasts and a video channel. Waldman’s studio is the home of the famed live acoustic broadcast FOLKSCENE.
